About Me
Hello! Thank you for visiting my site. My name is Eric Masters. I was born and raised in Storm Lake, Iowa. I graduated from Iowa State University in December 2021 with a bachelor's degree in Advertising and with a minor in General Business.
I am currently a Media Coordinator at Lawrence & Schiller. I work with a great group of people to help our client's campaigns run smoothly, efficiently, and effectively. Some qualities of myself would include dependable, hardworking, trustworthy, punctual, and a team player. I have always been easy to get along with. I've also been willing to solve problems within my professional and personal life. Skills that I have obtained include detail-oriented, analytical, strategic thinking, creative, and logical.
After graduating from Iowa State, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in media. This was thanks to a couple great professors, and a media specific class I took my last semester at Iowa State.
My first official job was as a sales associate at Shoe Sensation. Just a week and a half after being hired at Shoe Sensation, I was promoted to Back-Up Assistant Manager, in which the position shares a lot of responsibilities with the Assistant Manager. I then had several internship experiences including one with Saltech Systems, a digital solution firm in Ames Iowa. While at Saltech Systems I gained SEO skills, digital marketing skills, and improved my detailed oriented and analytical skills. These experiences have helped me in my current position at Lawrence & Schiller.

Hello and welcome to my site! My name is Eric Masters. I am currently a Media Coordinator at Lawrence & Schiller, an advertising agency in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I graduated from Iowa State University, majoring in Advertising with a minor in General Business.
My hometown is Storm Lake, Iowa, a small town in Northwest Iowa rich in diversity. I am eager to bring the lessons I have learned from the diverse culture in Storm Lake to my professional life in the future!

Learning and Living
I believe that learning is a constant, ongoing process that is essential to your profession. Before going into your profession, the information and knowledge you acquire before entering the workforce are very important and valuable. You have learned the most up-to-date information on your major and can bring that into your profession.
However, the" veterans "at your job will have a lot of experience and knowledge about the real-life implication of the job. With that being said, I took my academics very seriously to prepare myself for my profession. While in my profession, I will continue to learn from the team to better my knowledge of the industry.

This section is dedicated to my main hierarchy of ethics, of which I hold myself to a high standard in following them.
This includes both my professional and personal life.
Throughout my life, I am fortunate enough to say that I have a good understanding and control of my traits that I deem imperative to my professional success in teams and life in general. These 3 traits or rules for myself are very important to me as they keep me grounded, focused and provide me with the ability to be the best me.
Dependable
I want my co-workers, bosses, and peers to know that they can depend on me to get any job given to me done to the best of my ability. This also includes being punctual and having accountability for my actions. I will be dependable in all aspects of my professional life.
Honesty
There is no such thing as one lie. Being dishonest leads to more dishonesty, leading to more and more problems. I take extreme amounts of pride in being honest. Honesty creates understanding, team cohesion, and most importantly, trust, which in my opinion, is one of the best traits a team (group or company) can have.
Respect and Fairness
I will not judge or make assumptions about anyone based on what is on the outside. I care about the character of the person. I will absolutely treat everyone I meet with respect and fairness. This is imperative for teams and groups to get work done.
Proficiencies
These skills are just a few that I and others consider my most prominent proficiencies. In my past jobs and internships, I have used these proficiencies to solve problems internally and externally for my employers.
Customer Service
I have been commended for my great customer service skills when dealing with customers/clients. I am very patient, respectful, and attentive to their needs and wants. I aim to make sure customer and client concerns are addressed and solved within a timely matter.
Dependable
I take great pride in being accountable for all aspects of my life. Whether it be simple or complex tasks, I always strive to maintain my dependable reputation. I accomplish this by following through on tasks, being an active listener, and getting the job or task done and done well.
Deliberative
A lot of my peers and employers would describe me as deliberate. I would have to agree. I take pride in my decision-making and want the best outcome for everyone in each decision.
I am always thinking of strategies to improve myself and improve the situation or task assigned. In a situation where I have a sufficient amount of time, I take the time to brainstorm the best way to accomplish my task.
